Who is Nekomata?
Nekomata is an S-rank Physical Attack agent from the Cunning Hares and one of the original launch 5-star characters in Zenless Zone Zero. Her kit is built around rapid dagger combos and her cat-like agility — she builds charge through quick attacks and releases powerful Physical bursts. While she has been largely eclipsed by newer Physical characters in the competitive meta, she remains a fun and capable Physical DPS for players who enjoy fast, flashy combat.

Is Nekomata still worth pulling in 2.x?
She is viable for Physical team lovers but has been outclassed by newer units. If you enjoy fast Physical melee gameplay and don't have a better Physical DPS, she is worth pulling on rerun. For pure meta performance, newer S-ranks will likely outperform her.
What makes her playstyle unique?
Nekomata has one of the fastest basic attack chains in ZZZ — her 4-hit dagger combo is quick and her mobility during EX Special gives her aggressive repositioning tools. She rewards rapid attack rhythm rather than deliberate burst windows.
Does she work with Physical Anomaly teammates?
Nekomata is an Attack-type DPS, not Anomaly-type. She does not generate Physical Anomaly stacks. A mixed team of Attack and Anomaly types is possible but they do not directly synergize as well as pure Anomaly teams like Jane Doe + Piper.
