Who is Qiuyuan?
Qiuyuan is a 5★ Fusion Sub-DPS and buffer who focuses on buffing Echo Skill DMG and providing extra Echo Skill casts for allied resonators. His unique Forte ability deals Aero DMG equal to 600% ATK as an Echo Skill to all targets in range, and for every 1% of his Crit Rate over 50% he increases the Crit DMG of all nearby Resonators by 2% for 30 seconds (up to 30%). He is Galbrena's best buffer and natural second slot due to his Echo Skill casts feeding her Afterflame mechanic, and he slots into the top Phrolova and Sigrika compositions as well.

Why does Qiuyuan need over 50% Crit Rate?
His Forte ability Spectral Cannon transfers 2% Crit DMG to the entire team for every 1% of his Crit Rate above 50%, up to a 30% Crit DMG team bonus. Reaching 80% personal Crit Rate gives the maximum 30% team Crit DMG, making Crit Rate a higher priority stat for him than for typical DPS characters.
Is Qiuyuan only useful for Galbrena?
No. His Echo Skill DMG buffs are equally valuable for Phrolova and Sigrika. His Spectral Cannon also synergises with any character who deals Echo Skill DMG, making him broadly useful across Echo Skill-focused compositions.
Can Qiuyuan be played as a DPS?
His Spectral Cannon delivers 600% ATK in a single Echo Skill hit, giving him solid personal damage potential. His primary role is as a buffer but in the right team he can contribute meaningful damage alongside his buffing duties.
