Baizhi
Who is Baizhi?
Baizhi is a 4★ Glacio Healer using a Rectifier and the most accessible healer in Wuthering Waves. She is a permanent Convene character available to every player, making her the default healer for any team before Verina or Shorekeeper are obtained. Her healing output is reliable for all early and mid-game content. In late-game she is outclassed by premium 5★ healers but remains a strong budget option, especially in Glacio teams where she enables the double-Glacio resonance bonus.

Should I replace Baizhi when I get Verina?
Generally yes — Verina's Outro ATK buff provides more value than Baizhi's Glacio resonance bonus in most non-Glacio teams. However, in a Carlotta + Sanhua team, Baizhi's Glacio resonance bonus (+5% Glacio DMG to both) is a small but real perk. Keep using Baizhi in Glacio teams even with Verina available.
Is Baizhi hard to keep alive?
Baizhi is a tank-y healer — her HP pool is generous and her Bubble Barrier provides damage absorption. She is durable and forgiving in content below DU difficulty. Her weakness is that her heals require brief field time rather than being fully off-field.
Does Baizhi need Resonance Chains?
S1 increases Cotton Boll totem duration which improves off-field healing uptime. Worth getting from standard pulls but not worth farming specifically. S0 covers all content.
