Necrologist is a 5-star Mineral-afflatus Support who uniquely prevents allies from dying with her Ultimate, which applies [Prayer] to all allies for 3 rounds to prevent KO and increase their DMG Dealt. If allies already have [Prayer] active she heals them instead. She also has dispel in her kit. Prydwen describes her as a unique anti-death support whose primary value is the combination of death prevention with a substantial DMG Dealt buff, though she is extremely AP-hungry since her kit revolves around her Ultimate and she provides limited value outside of it.

While an ally has [Prayer] active from Necrologist's Ultimate, they cannot be reduced to 0 HP by any attack — a killing blow is negated for the duration. [Prayer] lasts 3 rounds. If you cast her Ultimate on allies who already have [Prayer], it heals them instead of reapplying the buff.
Is Necrologist a good healer?
Not in the traditional sense — she does not provide regular healing through incantations. Her healing only occurs when recasting the Ultimate on allies who already have [Prayer]. She functions as a death-prevention specialist rather than a sustain healer, making her best in compositions that already have a healer.
Why is she considered AP-hungry?
Her [Prayer] buff, DMG Dealt boost, and dispel all require casting her Ultimate or specific incantations. Outside of those windows her passive utility is minimal, meaning she spends AP each turn without providing value proportional to that cost compared to more efficient supports.
