Who is Yunli?
Yunli is a 5★ Physical Destruction counter-carry whose entire kit revolves around parrying enemy attacks. A descendant of the Xianzhou Luofu's martial bloodline, she enters a "Parry" stance with her Ultimate and counters the next enemy hit with a devastating follow-up strike that scales with both CRIT DMG and HP. The counter can be triggered by any enemy action, giving her near-guaranteed follow-up uptime in content with frequent enemy turns. Robin and Huohuo are her best partners, with Huohuo's Ultimate providing over one-third of her Ultimate energy per use.

How does Yunli's Parry work?
After using her Ultimate, Yunli enters Parry stance. The next time any enemy takes an action (Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate), Yunli automatically counters with a powerful Physical follow-up strike scaled with her CRIT DMG.
Does Yunli need her signature?
Her signature has an extremely high Aggro modifier that makes enemies target her almost exclusively, maximising Parry triggers. It is a significant quality-of-life and damage upgrade, but On the Fall of an Aeon is a workable F2P alternative.
Why does Huohuo pair so well with Yunli?
Huohuo's Ultimate grants energy equal to 24 base energy, but Yunli's Ultimate costs 48 energy total — so Huohuo's calculation effectively gives Yunli over a third of her Ultimate per cast. Combined with an ATK buff, Huohuo is her best sustain option.
