Who is Blade?
Blade is a 5★ Wind Destruction HP-scaling DPS and a member of the Stellaron Hunters with a curse of immortality. He drains his own HP to fuel relentless follow-up attacks through his Talent "Shuhu's Gift" — each time he loses HP (via Skill or taking damage), he gains a Charge stack, and at max Charge fires a powerful Wind AoE follow-up. His Hellscape state from his Ultimate grants further HP drain and additional damage. In 4.2 he found new life with Hyacine's signature Light Cone, which deals constant damage to him and turbocharges his Charge generation.

Sacrifices HP (33% of max HP) to deal Wind DMG and gain 3 Charge stacks.
Enters Hellscape state — Blade's HP drain from Skill becomes more potent, and his enhanced Basic ATK deals additional Wind DMG targeting all enemies.
At 5 Charge stacks Blade fires an AoE follow-up ("Shuhu's Gift"), dealing Wind DMG to all enemies scaled by his max HP.
Immediately enters Hellscape at battle start.

Does Blade need a healer?
Blade constantly drains his own HP, so a healer or shielder is important. Lynx is particularly good as her skill can target Blade to keep him alive. Luocha's passive field also efficiently sustains him.
Why is Hyacine's Light Cone good for Blade?
Hyacine's signature Light Cone deals constant damage to the wearer, which counts as HP loss for Blade and rapidly fills his Charge stacks for more frequent Shuhu's Gift follow-ups.
Is Blade a standard character?
