Who is Lighter?
Lighter is an S-rank Fire Stun agent from Sons of Calydon. A gruff mechanic with a flamethrower on his back, he is the best Stun partner for Fire Anomaly teams. His kit applies Daze rapidly while also building Fire Anomaly, making him a dual-purpose unit who contributes to both the Stun window and the Disorder reaction. His Sons of Calydon faction bonus activates with Burnice to give both characters significant offensive bonuses.

Strong per-skill Daze from Normal Attack chain and EX Special — competitive with the best Stun units.
Unlike most Stun units, Lighter also builds Fire Anomaly on enemies — enabling Disorder even when the main Fire DPS is off-field.
Large-radius Fire blast applying both Daze and Anomaly in one hit — the most efficient single move in his kit.
Additional Ability with Burnice grants both 15% ATK and 30% Fire DMG Bonus — the strongest faction pair bonus in the current meta.

Lighter is a limited S-rank — requires limited banner pulls. However his A-rank counterpart Burnice runs alongside him, and the duo is strong enough to justify pulling both.
His W-Engine signature is helpful but the A-rank Brimstone covers his ATK needs adequately.

Is Lighter better than Von Lycaon for Miyabi?
Lighter enables Fire+Ice Disorder (250% bonus damage on each Disorder trigger) which is a significant damage advantage. However Lycaon is on the standard banner — Lighter requires a limited pull. Lycaon is the recommended option for budget players.
Why does Lighter deal Fire Anomaly damage?
Unlike most Stun units who deal neutral damage, Lighter's attacks apply Fire Attribute buildup. This means enemies accumulate Fire Anomaly gauge passively while he Stuns, enabling Disorder with Miyabi or other Ice/Electric Anomaly DPS.
Does Lighter need Sons of Calydon teammates?
No, but the faction bonus with Burnice is his best scenario. He functions in any team needing reliable Stun — his Daze output is among the highest in the game independent of faction.
