Who is Verina?
Verina is a 5★ Spectro Healer and the single most universally recommended character in Wuthering Waves. Her Outro Skill provides a team-wide ATK buff, her healing is reliable without requiring field time, and she fits into virtually every team composition at S0 without any Resonance Chains. Often called the best investment in the entire game for new players.

Heals the active character on hit; efficient healing without consuming Concerto Energy.
Targets and roots enemies briefly — generates Concerto Energy and heals the team.
Thornbind stacks allow Verina to trigger off-field healing procs when allies use their skills.
AoE Spectro burst that deals solid damage and refills team health.
On swap-out, grants the incoming character 15% ATK buff for 30s — the core reason every team wants Verina.

Is Verina better than Shorekeeper?
Verina is more universally accessible (standard banner, lower investment) and her Outro ATK buff is slightly simpler to leverage. Shorekeeper provides a CRIT buff via Outro which can be marginally stronger for CRIT-scaling teams at high investment, but Verina remains the recommended pull for most players.
Does Verina need Resonance Chains?
No. Verina at S0 is already the best healer in the game. R1 adds some off-field healing consistency but is optional. Save your Astrites.
What is the Outro Skill?
When you manually swap Verina out (not forced swap), she activates her Outro buff — a 15% ATK bonus for the next character. This is why you always swap through Verina between your main damage windows.
