Who is Chixia?
Chixia is a 4★ Fusion Attack agent using Pistols and one of the original starter characters in Wuthering Waves. A fiery, energetic girl with dual pistols, her kit is built around a Vibrant charge system — she builds Vibrant stacks through rapid Pistols combos and spends them on empowered shots dealing high single-target Fusion DMG. She is the first Fusion DPS that many players encounter and a reliable early-game carry. While outclassed by Encore and Changli in late game, she is a capable Fusion DPS for all early and mid-game content.

Chixia is obtainable from the standard Convene banner and provided early in the story — effectively free.
She is the recommended starting Fusion DPS before Encore or Changli is obtained. Focus echo investment on her until a 5★ Fusion DPS is available.
At S2 (standard duplicates) her Vibrant stack capacity increases, improving her burst window damage.

Is Chixia worth investing echo resources into?
Invest modestly in Chixia while she is your main Fusion DPS, but prioritise pulling and building a 5★ Fusion carry (Encore standard, or Changli limited) as your primary goal. Her echoes can be recycled onto Encore later since both use Molten Rift set.
What are Vibrant stacks?
Vibrant stacks build as Chixia performs Normal Attacks and other abilities. When Blistering Bullet (Resonance Skill) is used, all stacks are consumed — the more stacks at cast time, the more powerful the shot. Maximising stacks before using Resonance Skill is her main skill expression.
Can Chixia work alongside Encore?
They compete for the same Fusion DPS slot. You would use one as your main Fusion DPS, not both simultaneously. Encore is the upgrade; once you have her built, Chixia transitions to reserve or rotation backup.
