Charon is a 6-star Spirit-afflatus Support and the premier driver of Dynamo team compositions in R:1999. After casting his Ultimate he becomes essentially AP-free, making his special buffs permanent and generating obscene quantities of [Dynamo] passively each round. He also provides a powerful debuff that amplifies enemy DMG Taken and enables both quick-clear bursts and extended fight sustainability. Prydwen describes him as dealing an egregious amount of personal damage, providing top-tier buffs, going AP-free post-Ultimate, and fitting the Dynamo archetype perfectly — a definitive S+ tier support.
