Nanally
Who is Nanally?
Nanally is the first banner character at NTE's global launch and is rated T0 as the strongest Main DPS in the game. She is an Anima-attribute Follow-Up Attack specialist — the only character in NTE with wall running. Her kit stacks two damage states simultaneously ("both of her states stacking on top of each other is what makes her so dangerous"), converting every Normal Attack into additional Anima follow-up damage and significantly boosting team Blossom output as a passive.

F2P Arc is available and described as the best option for Nanally with no gacha Arc required. A1 Awakening (Gang Formation) is the priority spend for consistent Ultimate rotations — get this first before any other Awakening.
Remaining Awakenings: A5 and A3 are equal second priority; the rest are diminishing returns.

What makes Nanally the strongest DPS at launch?
Her two states — Ichi-Daime's Authority (30% CRIT DMG) and Underboss (converts every Normal Attack into additional Anima follow-up) — stack simultaneously. Most DPS characters have one primary damage state; having both active at once creates a significant damage ceiling above the rest of the launch roster.
Why is A1 the priority Awakening?
A1 (Gang Formation) grants Nanally Ultimate Energy for each follow-up attack. Since her kit generates many follow-ups, this smooths out her Ultimate rotations dramatically, reducing the gaps between big damage windows. It is her most impactful single upgrade.
Does she need a gacha Arc?
No. The F2P Arc increases Skill and Ultimate damage and is described by Prydwen as the best F2P option for Nanally. Her Signature Arc is an upgrade but not a requirement for high performance.
What is the Hex reaction?
Hex is a reaction triggered when both Incantation and Anima attributes are present on the same team. It lasts 15 seconds per trigger and amplifies damage for those elements. With 2 characters of each attribute, Hex can be maintained 100% of the time — Nanally (Anima) + Sakiri (Incantation) is the core Hex pairing.
