Aventurine is a 5★ Imaginary sustain of the Preservation Path and, as of Patch 4.2, a top-tier shielder who also deals Follow-Up damage — the best sustain for attack-spamming FUA teams and a favored Acheron shielder (source: Prydwen). DEF is his core stat, improving both his shield and his damage.

DEF improves both his shield strength and his damage — his A2 bonus maxes around 4000 DEF.
